Putting your Own Song on Myspace

Note: Free hosts aren't the best, so sometimes it may take awhile for your song to load or play... that's just the way it is.

*If you are trying to put the song in your blog, make sure you click "If you can't input your blog, click here" before entering the code!*

Step 1. Upload your mp3 at FileFreak.com.

Step 2. After you have hosted the song, copy the DIRECT URL (the one that ends in .mp3). To be safe, open the link in your browser just to make sure the song plays.

Step 3. Now you're ready to embed the song onto your page, you can do that with this code...

<embed src="URL OF MP3" />

If you want the player to be hidden, use this...

<embed src="URL OF MP3" height="0" width="0" />

Now some people might have trouble using those codes... if you do, I suggest using a flash player (they're proven to work in all browsers). MyFlashPlaylist.com and PlaylistSpace.com are great tools to use.
